The day HE was born.

It was a Sunday on July 8th, 2018.
<h2>Early labor started at 12AM</h2>
It was a week and a half before my initial due date. On my way to bed that night I remember starting to feel weird & some pains worse than I had felt my whole pregnancy. A few days before I had tried this raspberry tea & I had lost my mucus plug, I think because I started spotting. ; not to mention I had gone to a baby shower the day prior while walking quite a bit. So that probably helped a lot with getting my body ready for labour. Though I didn't want to believe that it was time, I was so nervous as I deal with anxiety (which I will make a post about in the future) & that fact that this was my first pregnancy.

Even though I was in a little bit of pain and couldn't exactly sleep I tried laying on the couch to rest. If it was the time I knew that I didn't have to rush right over to the hospital as my gynaecologist told me it could take hours before my body was even ready to push him out. So I did do much of anything for a few hours. I was able to make up it up to probably about 7 AM or so before the pain was becoming more unbearable for me to handle on my own. So I ended up calling my sister to explain how I felt and she told me to get Kaelub's Daddy, come get her & head to the hospital because she was sure our special day had arrived.
<h2>Got to the hospital at about 7am (or so) </h2>
On our way in to the hospital I actually bumped into my gynecologist. It would have been awesome if she was the one who delivered my baby but it was still nice to see her for that moment.I had texted my Dad & Sister right away to let them know what was going on. Then next this you know they were all at the hospital. My Grandma had come with them.
So Glad they were with us.When we first arrived I got to sit in the whorl pool. It was nice & warm. Even though I was in quite a bit of pain it still felt more relaxing to be in there. I only stayed in the tub for a little while. The nurses had told me to walk around after that. When the nurse checked me for the first time, which I feel was one of the other most painful times of that day (when they had to go in & see how much more dilated I was) It hurt so bad. She found that I was literally only 1cm dilated. I would have got sent home but I was in so much pain I was not going anywhere. It was kinda funny because there was a lady right beside me behind her curtain & she was like 6cm dilated, in labor with her third child mind you, not really making a sound & yet I was the one screaming in pain at 1cm. I can not handle pain very well. I have no idea how I got so far but I did. If it wasn’t for my lovely sister helping me cope I don’t think it would have been possible. & my family being there through this also did me so much good. My sister told me that I didn’t even look anyone in the face because of how much pain I was in.
At 8cm dilated I got the epidural
I actually made it to 8cm, even saying it is weird, which is pretty impressive for me but then I finally gave in to getting the epidural. I remember it hurt so bad to sit up that the doctor had to try with me lying down on my side first. It wasn't working so I had to try to sit up. With the help from Kaelub's Daddy & the nurse I finally got up. It felt like the doctor giving me the epidural had to give it few shots before actually getting it to work. BUT after that I felt so muchhhhhh better I tell ya. All I wanted was food though but I had to wait until after K.Michael was born. Which was not fun. I hadn't eaten since dinner the night before

Not too long after I got the epidural I felt like it was time to push... the feeling is so odd & uncomfortable.. it feels like you gatta poop really bad LOL I think it was probably about 10-20 mins & he popped right out.
<h2>At 5:41pm K.Michael was born.
