Kaelub’s Favorite Shows

ree

My son wasn't really interested in TV for the first year of his life - which is awesome I guess because I have read that it isn't good for little ones to be sat in front of a screen/TV right away.

So when he did start to watch some shows I first introduced him to:

Little Baby Bump

On YouTube

The Wiggles

On Netflix

Just be careful parents.. these songs can be catchy & may get stuck in your head! You’ll be doing the dishes/work one day just singing along LOL

Mother Goose Club

Just because I knew he was always into music. So I figured he wouldn’t mind watching these shows. & he did like to sit some things, which didn’t and still doesn’t happen a lot.. But he would dance & jump around to all the songs.

Then one day I was going through the channels & I came across the new: Kaelub really enjoys watching Blue, Magenta & Josh.. & truthfully I think this was probably the first show that he could sit down and finish the whole episode.

Blue’s Clues & You
Word Party

Kaelub also enjoys this show as well.

Another one you can find on Netflix.

Staring baby animals who want the “older” kids to join in all their fun and help them learn.

So just the other day TreeHouse was playing on the TV, channel 65 I believe, which I do leave it on that channel at times just for something new.. because who really just wants to sit there & watch the same show over & over.. now that I think if it I have read that children do like repetitiveness BUT I need a break from all the songs playing continuously before it makes me go even more crazy LOL.

Anyhow the show that was on at the time was:

Thomas & Friends

I have never put this show on for Kaelub myself & I wasnt even sure he had even seen it on the television yet.. but right as soon as he saw the train he says “Chu-Chu.” It was the cutest thing ever. It’s like he learned/taught himself the sound a train makes.. I was actually just about to turn it off and put on another show for him & he basically says “No!” puts his hands out as if he is trying to tell me that he wants to watch the show.. So I left it on. & from that day on (which has probably only been a couple days to a week) He only wants to watch the “Chu-Chu Train”
